Strategi Komunikasi Sosial dalam Penyuluhan Stunting dan Pemberian Gizi Tambahan pada Masyarakat Desa Pegalangan Kidul

Abstract

Health issues commonly encountered in rural areas are related to environmental health problems. Many residents are still found to dispose of waste in river streams, defecate in shared places, and use the same facilities for bathing, which results in negative impacts, especially for children who tend to play in the river water. These children grow up in an environment that is dirty and poorly maintained in terms of cleanliness. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The researcher observes, analyzes, and collects data through direct observation, interviews, and documentation in Pegalangan Kidul Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency. The purpose of this study is to identify areas where environmental health problems still exist and to educate the public on the importance of maintaining environmental health. Additionally, it aims to provide education and supplementary nutrition to children under five who are suffering from stunting.
